Bad Posture Club are a queer folk duo made up of Maren Day and Morgan Kavanagh. Originally from Northwestern Washington, they've toured nationally and spent formative years in the Midwest music scene. Together they craft intricate and experimental harmonies with their two voices, banjo, guitar, and a century-old pump organ. Bad Posture Club invites the listener in to offer warmth and reflection through their original therapeutic soundscape.

Best be fashionably on time to meet and mingle before the main event as Bellingham's own The Shadies help feed the community sentiment. Proud nerds of obscure fiddle tunes, forgotten songs from the early twentieth century, Hawaiian steel guitar melodies, and classic country favorites. Their old-time sound is an extension of late night kitchen jams, impromptu square dances, festival pilgrimages, and compulsive woodshedding. Are they a band or just some pals that love to play tunes and sing songs? After almost 20 years, it’s hard to tell.
