BPG Planting - Streamlining Bindaring Wetland (North end)
Event description
The Friends of Bindaring Wetland and the Bassendean Preservation Group extend a warm invitation to all for the third annual wetland revegetation event in the northern section of Bindaring Park Wetlands.
The Town of Bassendean has secured additional funding for this project, now in its third year, from the Swan and Canning Riverpark Urban Forest Program to further the living stream project initiated in 2021.
BPG is collaborating with the Friends of Bindaring Wetland by providing plants and planters for the site.
The event offers a relaxed and simple planting experience, welcoming participants of all ages.
Gumboots are advised for this location.
Location:
Kindly park near the corner of Anstey & Carnegie Streets (input 23 Anstey Rd into your GPS). Follow the signs for about 200 meters to the planting site, situated towards the east end of Harcourt Street.
What's provided:
We will provide excellent company, planting tools, and a delightful morning tea.
What to bring:
Remember to bring mosquito repellent, gloves, a personal water bottle, gumboots, and wet weather gear, particularly if recent days have been rainy leading up to the event.
