BPW CHB Garden Ramble
Event description
Wander through a handpicked collection of beautiful and unique gardens in the picturesque Central Hawke’s Bay Countryside. Each one thoughtfully crafted and lovingly maintained, from a grand 1902 homestead where century-old roses spill down terraced slopes, to off-grid organic gardens showcasing self-sufficiency. Immerse yourself in the charming railway cottage garden brimming with character, and don't miss the opportunity to behold the awe-inspiring hilltop garden offering sweeping panoramic views of the Ruahine Ranges.
This is not your run of the mill garden tour. What makes this garden ramble special? You’ll have the chance to meet the gardeners and homeowners themselves — passionate DIYers, plant lovers, and garden enthusiasts. Hear their stories, ask questions, and gather practical tips and inspiration for your own garden. It’s a relaxed, feel-good day out, celebrating “Real Gardens for Real People”, all while supporting a great cause.
Presented by Business and Professional Women (BPW) CHB all funds go toward their Second Chance Education Scholarship for women returning to tertiary education.
Once you have purchased your ticket we will send you a list of the gardens on the tour with directions for the day. Please take your ticket with you when visiting the gardens. Public toilets are available in the centre of Otane, Waipawa and Waipukurau.
