Brain Power Series 2.0: Neuroscience of Stress & Resilience
Event description
The Sydney Startup Hub in partnership with Vitae has launched The Brain Power Series 2.0. This is a series of weekly online neuroscience workshops available to all NSW-based startups, scaleups, freelancers and small businesses. These sessions will run weekly over a 4-week period and are complimentary.Â
Week One: Neuroscience of Stress & Resilience
We all experience stress. But what is stress really? What does stress do to our; decision-making, productivity and collaboration? And how do we build resilience to counter stress to stop it from becoming chronic?
Vitae.Coach’s Neuroscience of Stress and Resilience online workshop aims to help people neurologically understand stress and how to use acute stress as positive thinking fuel.
Understanding the biological construct of stress and how it impacts our thinking and relationship with resilience, this workshop arms individuals, teams and businesses with all the neurohacks (quick brain hacks) and neurotools to bust stress and boost resilience.
This interactive workshop covers:
- the neurological relationship between stress and resilience
- how acute and chronic stress impacts cognition and performance
- how to neurologically hack stress to increase focus and productivity
- how to boost resilience and refocus in times of uncertainty.
By the end of this 45 minute workshop, attendees will be equipped with the neurological knowledge to bust stress and boost resilience even in the most challenging times.
Like all NSW-supported, and Vitae-delivered workshops, we provide digital workbooks to all attendees containing all the neurotools, hacks, and frameworks covered in each session. This workshop is delivered digitally by Vitae.Coach’s CEO and Co-Founder, Shelley Laslett.
