BrainSTEM Schools Challenge SYDNEY - Unstoppable Minds
Event description
Unstoppable Minds, a half-day program that brings together  students (Year 8-10) and teachers from government, catholic and independent schools to help solve some of the most challenging issues in communities worldwide.
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this program will focus on Shaping A Sustainable Future. To inspire and equip the next generation of innovators and leaders to impact our planet positively.
Students will:
- Work with students from other schools (in mixed teams)
- Learn/develop new skills like Design Thinking
- Build expertise in problem-solving, critical thinking and brainstorming
- Use tools like LEGO for prototyping
- Compete against other teams for the best solution
- Listen to and learn from industry experts
- Present to judges and win prizes
Due to limited numbers, registrations are capped at 10 students per school.
The cost includes all the materials necessary for the workshop.Â
Light refreshments/morning tea will be provided.
Students are advised to carry their own packed lunch for the day.
