Event description

This year has already tested the adaptability, resilience, patience and creativity of our teachers. While students and parents have struggled with (and adapted) to online learning, keeping them engaged has been a challenge.

How can you keep the students engaged?

Join us on Friday 16 Oct for a masterclass on Using Design Thinking to help students think differently.

You will get a range of hands on, actionable and fun tips/tricks/ideas that can be applied immediately in your class. Adaptable to both online and onsite environments, this masterclass will help in keeping your students engaged, focussed and invested in their learning journey.

- Understand the 5-stage design thinking framework,

- Identify how and when to apply different stages,

- Appreciate the impact our environment has on learning outcomes

- Explore gamification techniques to keep it fun and engaging.

This masterclass is based on our Building Resilient Minds Design Thinking Workshop Series for both students (Yr 8-10) and high-school teachers.

BrainSTEM is a non-profit organisations that runs STEM Mentoring programs and Workshops in Design Thinking for high school students and teachers. Our programs provide the change-makers of the next generation an opportunity to obtain real-world experience, cultivate an appetite in the pursuit of innovation, develop meaningful collaborations and provide a space to fail without fear.

This is an online webinar - you will receive the Zoom details after registration with a reminder sent before commencement.
