Bearded Lady Productions announces 'Brave Voices,' a celebration of resilience and artistry featuring heartfelt coming out stories, stirring performances by the Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus, and the dazzling one woMan cabaret-style show 'I Am What I Am,' starring acclaimed drag performer Divine Holeburn. The event is a fundraiser for Blue Ridge Pride and will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at New Belgium Brewing. Tickets at www.AshevilleDragBrunch.com.
In honor of National Coming Out Day, audiences will hear powerful and poignant coming out stories and enjoy stellar choral performances by the Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus. The evening culminates with Divine Holeburn’s one-person show, I Am What I Am, blending live singing, storytelling, humor, and raw emotion in a uniquely theatrical journey. Known for her artistry and activism, Divine has won Best of WNC Drag Performer three times and uses her platform at this event to raise awareness and funds for Blue Ridge Pride.

Divine, The Bearded Lady, is a beloved drag performer from western NC, who blends her performing arts background with philanthropy, humor, and a welcoming spirit. Having won multiple awards, she has entertained since 1993, proudly representing bearded queens while encouraging authenticity and kindness.
