Bread Run Volunteers

NB: You need to be a current UWA student to register for this event.
Volunteers assist with the collection and sorting of bread donations from Mt Claremont bakery, which provides support to UWA students in need. This program aims to minimise food waste and provide lower socio-economic students with delicious bread, free of charge via the Student Food Pantry.
ACTIVITY DETAILS
When: Tuesdays -
Morning: 9am - 10.30am
Afternoon: 3.30pm - 5pm
Location: Meet Hayley and Saalik at the Guild Volunteering Hub - Located in the Guild Village, near the IGA, situated next to the Student Legal Advice Centre (SLAC).
What to expect: Meet at Guild Volunteering and travel with the coordinators in the van to Mt Claremont bakery to collect bread donations. Once you have returned, you will sort bread into portions, bag them, and help deliver them to the Food Pantry.
Make sure to tie up long hair, use the gloves provided and be mindful of food safety standards.
