Details

The Globe is a unique community theatre venue that was first established in 1961 when Patric and Rosalie Carey converted part of their 1860’s London St home into a small theatre. It is maintained and run entirely by volunteer members - The Friends of the Globe Theatre. We wish to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible, but do rely on financial support from the community to help us keep up with repairs, replacement of basic equipment like heat pumps, and the ever rising cost of utilities. If you are in a position to spend a bit more on the quality entertainment we provide, please consider making a donation. Donations of ANY amount will be gratefully accepted to help us maintain this venue for the community.
