We invite established business owners to work along side survivor-led business owners in our mini market. Providing a stepping stone for Survivors to showcase their products or skills with support.

We invite Health Professionals and Wellness Facilitators to join our spaces to bridge the gap between the community and the sector. Newly dubbed "Break Free Health Hubs" we hope the community embraces the opportunity to engage and connect with local health professionals, wellness Facilitators, Legal and Housing Representatives in a unique way and leave feeling heard and supported.

Our partner Charity Broken To Brilliant will be providing survivor insights, highlights the real importance of rebuilding and shares their programs with the community.

We invite Artists to facilitate workshops to provide a fun, creative way to engage with the community in a family friendly environment and we have LIVE Spraypaint DEMOs by a local Gold Coasf Artist.
Kids have opportunities to explore their own creativity through our mini Sensory and Kids Art Hubs.
Sacred Grounds Cafè have kindly given us their facilities and extended their hours, so they will be serving delicious food and great coffee on the day.

We invite women, no matter their age, to share their journey. Gold Coast line up includes fierce women from the culinary, dv and wellness spaces, to spring the community into action! We want to elevate the female survivor voice and show case their experiences and the journey and those doing great things across all spaces in the community. We so proud of the women and men stepping up this time around.

Michelle Faye is the founder of HerStory Revolution based in QLD,
Lauren Jane victim survivor of 14 years and heart of Find My Wild from NSW,
Dave Kramer Facilitator of the HALT Program at Small Steps For Hannah From QLD,
Sarah French exceptional Chef and Nutritionist based in QLD and
Nina Sackprasith founder of Vivre Co. And Vivre Wellness and multi-disciplinary Artist at Illuminara based in QLD.
Workshop Facilitators
11am Deep Breaths With Louie and Caroline Brunne (Kid Friendly), Located on the deck at Sacred Grounds.
11:30am Creative Writers Workshop by Christine Innes, Located on the deck at Sacred Grounds.
2:00pm Breathwork by the Water with Nina Sackprasith from Vivre Wellness. Nina will be down the lower end of the grassed. Emersed in nature and take some time to yourself. ADULTS Only.

BREAK FREE is about the people, the places, the connections, and for everyone to gather for a cause and to raise awareness about the effects of domestic, family and sexual violence in a community.
To date, 38 (26/07), now 39 (27/07), women have lost their lives since January 1 2025 across Australia.
As a Creative of Artists, Health Practitioners and Wellness Facilitators, Established small business oweners, Survivor-led small businesses, dv services, dv charities and empowered Survivors, we say ENOUGH is ENOUGH...
We have partnered with domestic violence charity, who support individuals to rebuild their lives, with 50% of the proceeds for the event supporting Broken To Brilliant and the Legal Laureates Program. A FREE survivor led Legal Literacy Program offered to survivors who a navigating the legal system.
