Break the Bias, Powered by PechaKucha
Description
Taking inspiration from this year's International Women’s Day Theme, we welcome you to our first event of 2022 - Break the Bias.
We’ve invited bright minds from some of Australia’s most innovative organisations to share their story on breaking the bias they’ve faced in their career.
From smashing the glass ceiling to returning to work after children or re-starting a career after migrating - these women talk about the strength and motivation they found to overcome the barriers in their way. Their stories will give you invaluable insight into finding resilience and inspiration every day.
This event will be a PechaKucha 20x20 presentation style where speakers show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. In other words, they’ve got 400 seconds to tell their story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha means "chit chat" in Japanese. Since its inception in 2003 by two renowned Tokyo architects, three million people have attended PechaKucha events worldwide.
It’s a fun and engaging presentation that audiences love and speakers revel in!
