Breakfast with the Birds - Port Macquarie Campus
Event description
Meet at the chess set outside Building 802 for a 7:45am departure. We will explore the campus bushland with experts from Hastings Birdwatchers helping us to identify species. The track may be boggy, so wear appropriate footwear. Bring a water bottle, hat and insect repellant. Wearing long trousers is advisable. Binoculars are optional. After the walk, we will return for a breakfast at the BBQs near 802 with Port Student Enviro Club.
After breakfast, there will be an optional creek walk with Les Mitchell from Hastings Landcare for those students and staff interested in improving the quality of the biodiversity zone between buildings 801 and 802. Come and join us for part or all of this unique event.
