The Lavender Sky Breaking Down Barriers workshop will work towards breaking down barriers and stigmas within mental health and disability , positively impacting on a wide range of individuals and groups.

This event is aimned at fostering social inclusion, enhance cultural awareness and embracing diversity with supporting and promoting community health and wellbeing, We aim to enhance collaboration between organisations with the sharing of resources, information and experiences between individuals, community  groups and organisations.

This workshop is aimed towards:

People with Disabilities: To empower them with inspirig, person-centred stories and experiences, along with providing tools, resources, and a supportive environment to address disability and mental health challenges.

Caregivers and Family Members: They can gain insights into the unique challenges faced by their loved ones and learn strategies to offer better support.

Employers and Colleagues: ideas supporting and fostering a more inclusive workplace by raising awareness about mental health and disability, reducing stigma, and promoting accessibility. Real life stories can make a substantial impact on understandng and awareness.

Educators and Students: Teachers and students can benefit by understanding how to create a more inclusive learning environment that supports mental well-being.

Professionals: They can enhance their skills in providing compassionate and effective care to individuals with disabilities and mental health concerns.

 The Lavender Sky Foundation strives with Increasing awareness of the barriers faced by individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions by promoting inclusive practices, educating parents, carers, employees and individuals with real life practices and strategies from industry professionals, we aim to help build a more inclusive society by encouraging empathy, understanding, and collaboration.
