Breast Care Breakfast 2026

On Thursday 29 October 2026, PKF Sydney and Newcastle and the Hunter Nurse Education Group will be holding the 20th annual Hunter Breast Care Breakfast!

What is the Breast Care Breakfast?

In 2006, the first annual Breast Care Breakfast was held in order to empower our local Breast Care Nurses and give them the opportunity to be able to attend educational conferences and expand their knowledge. One of the Partners at PKF lost his wife to breast cancer, and we felt we needed to support him and mark her memory in some small way. 20 years later, the breakfast attracts over 500 attendees each year and has raised over $450,000, contributed to 15 conferences, and supported many Breast Care Nurses in the Hunter Valley through the Hunter Nurse Education Group. Breast care nurses play a vital role in supporting and guiding individuals through their breast cancer journey. They provide essential care, education, and emotional support, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during a challenging time. However, the availability of these specialised nurses can be limited due to funding constraints. All funds raised go directly to the Hunter Breast Care Nurses. View photos of this year’s event here.

1. Commercial Photography and Videography

1.1. You acknowledge and agree that any photographs and video taken during the event may contain your image and may be used by PKF Sydney and Newcastle and its related parties, accredited media outlets and/or third party sponsors of the event for promotional purposes, and that these photographs and videos may appear on various communication channels including (but not limited to) web sites and social media, and in various printed materials including (but not limited to) annual reports and newsletters produced by these organisations.

2. Privacy

3. Cancellations

3.1. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

3.2. In the event PKF Sydney and Newcastle are required to postpone the event, we will hold your ticket until a new date is announced. If you are unable to attend on the new date, we will issue a full refund.

3.3. In the event PKF Sydney and Newcastle are required to cancel the event, all ticket holders will automatically receive a full refund to the account they purchased the tickets on.

4. Responsible Service of Alcohol
4.1. A small amount of alcohol will be served under RSA guidelines at this event; by purchasing a ticket, attendees accept full responsibility for any minors they accompany and must ensure they are not exposed to alcohol service areas.
