Event description

This session combines movement with breathwork to improve performance and develop resilience under pressure. You’ll explore how to build functional breathing patterns and train with apnea-focused techniques — including breath holds — to strengthen your ability to stay calm, focused, and in control. Whether you're facing long hold-downs in the surf or navigating stressful moments in everyday life, this workshop offers practical tools to help you respond with clarity and confidence.

 

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: active wear, yoga mat, water.

We are taking donations to support those affected by the recent floods in the region.

The class is generously offered by Bruno Martinez as part of the Surfing NSW VW Classic surfing state titles.

ABOUT YOUR COACH: BRUNO MARTINEZ 

Bruno is a Holistic Movement Coach, Apnea and Functional Breathing Instructor based on the Gold Coast, known for combining science-backed methods with holistic practices to support performance, recovery and longevity. 

 

With a background in surf-specific training, holistic health, and resilience coaching, Bruno works with athletes of all ages and levels to cultivate strength, mobility, breath control and nervous system regulation. 

 

Through his work at Holistic Pro Health Studio, he helps people move better, breathe deeper, and live longer with more vitality and presence.
