Breathe and Move: Apnea Yoga + Breath-hold Immersive Workshop
Event description
Spring diving conditions can be touch and go, but it's a balmy 24 degrees indoors! This 90min dry workshop is an excellent way to stay freedive-fit. Learn from apnea-yoga aficionado Tessa Ucchino how to safely stretch your lungs + massage your accessory breathing muscles. Then, enjoy a static breath hold session led by none-other-than Kate Borysyuk, our Australian STA national record holder!
You'll leave the studio with refreshed lungs + new items in your freediving tool-box.
PLEASE BRING:
- Your own yoga mat (or $2 to rent one)
PARKING: Please arrive early to find parking - the surrounding streets are quite busy. Many free 2hr spots on Bourke St/side alleyways, as well as Nickson St.
