      Everyone is invited to join us for the official welcome to the inaugural Breathe Tekapo Festival. Join us at Dark Sky Project from 5.00pm to meet our team and collect your Breathe Tekapo tote bag. The official welcome will take place at 5.30pm and include a karakia, a welcome from our organisers and light refreshments. The event will conclude by 6.00pm. For those who are not in Tekapo on Friday evening, your tote bag can be collected on Saturday morning between 8.30 - 9.30am from the Tekapo School Library.

A mind-body physiotherapist, Nigel works with indiviuals with complex problems where common treatment approaches have failed. What if we changed what we eat and how we feed our brains? This keynote will review the research over the past decade uncovering an alarming picture of declining food quality as risk factors for all kinds of mental health challenges. Prof Rucklidge will then describe practical ways to use nutrition and micronutrients to treat and prevent mental health challenges with the long term goal of developing and maintaining a resilient brain.
