Travel instructions

Mantra on View is located at 22 View Avenue, Surfers Paradise QLD. Vehicle access is via View Avenue. The closest G:link light rail stop is Cypress Avenue Station, approximately a five-minute walk from the hotel, with local bus services also available. Parking is available at the Mantra on View car park at a discounted rate of $20 per day, subject to availability. Additional parking is available at Care Park, 18 View Avenue, for $20 per day, with advance booking available, and Cypress Avenue Carpark from $6 per day, approximately a five-minute walk from the venue.

Entry instructions

Enter through the main hotel entrance on View Avenue and proceed through the hotel lobby, following signage to the conference and function facilities. BreedaCon will be held in the Boulevard Ballroom on Level 2. Lifts provide access to Level 2, with event signage directing attendees to the ballroom and BreedaCon registration area.

After entry instructions

BreedaCon 2027 will be held in the Boulevard Ballroom on Level 2. Upon entering the hotel, proceed to Level 2 using the lifts and follow the signage to the Boulevard Ballroom and BreedaCon registration area.

Hazards

Potential accessibility considerations include crowded conference areas, temporary exhibition stands, electrical cables and furniture within the event spaces. Attendees may also encounter increased pedestrian traffic during registration, catering breaks and movement between conference sessions. Walkways will be kept clear wherever practicable, and assistance will be available upon request.

Accessible parking

On-site parking is available at Mantra On View Hotel, subject to availability. Conference delegates may use the hotel car park at a discounted rate of $20 per day. Additional parking is available at Car Parking Piazza on the Boulevard – Care Park, located next door to the hotel at 18 View Avenue, for $20 per day. Bookings can be made in advance directly with Care Park, with a PIN provided for boom gate access. Cypress Avenue Carpark – City of Gold Coast is also available from $6 per day or via metered hourly parking. The car park is approximately a five-minute walk from the venue. One caveat: this Humanitix field specifically asks for accessible parking options, and what Mantra supplied you so far is general parking information. I'd still use this information for now, but once Mantra replies we should update it if they confirm designated accessible bays or an accessible drop-off point.

Additional Accessibility Information

BreedaCon 2027 is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming educational experience for all delegates. Attendees with mobility requirements, sensory considerations or other accessibility needs are encouraged to contact the event organisers before the conference so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
