Tasmanian Astrologers present Brian Clark
Event description
Saturday March 22nd 2025 – 1pm to 5pm
Reflections on the Astrological Times
In this lecture we will consider the dimensions of time and what astrological patterns and passages might tell us about the current time.
Astrology is a dynamic art form. To an astrologer the starry vault of heaven is their imaginative canvas. In these heavenly patterns and pictures are metaphors, myths and analogies of the changing shape and form of time.
The lecture will be just after the Aries equinox on March 20, when the Sun is at 0 Aries.
In 2025 many planets cross this threshold, while other major planets are also simultaneously changing signs – we will consider how we might tell the astrological time of present-day.
Sunday March 23rd 2025 - 10am to 4pm
Working with the Dream and the Horoscope
A way I consider astrology and dreams is that astrology is macroscopic, whereas the dream is microscopic. Therefore, the combination of these two ways of seeing can be exceptionally revealing. The horoscope is like the dream of our life, while each dream weaves the personal into the larger story. Astrologically we can represent both ways with two horoscopes: the natal horoscope and the dream chart. The dream chart is cast for the approximate time of the dream - when the individual awakes from the dream, or their best estimation of the time of the dream.
In our workshop we will explore the symbolic marriage of the inner and outer heavens, working with both the dream and the horoscope. Those who would like to share their dream and horoscope, please have the dream written down – this is important as it will help record the details of the dream without secondary amplification - and an approximate time and date for the dream. We will then explore the dream in context of your natal and dream chart, which of course will be the transiting energies encased in the dream.
- Please refer to the handout Dream Preparation and Recall by Brian Clark.
- The handout will be sent by email to those who register for this Workshop.
