Event description

Bridging the Gap: a collective perspective on diversity and inclusion in the workplace –

Over the last 20 years corporate Australia has made leaps and bounds in understanding the need for a diverse and inclusive workplace, however there are still more conversations to be had and more work to be done.

We are the Movement is a national organisation, led by a predominantly African-Australian leadership team.

As it is their goal to improve access to employment for diverse people in Australia, they have partnered with Seed Spaces, The Benefit Consultants and B Local Sydney on a first of its-kind, panel event to be catalysts for change.

This event is an invitation for all of us – from the Anglo-male CEO, to the African female junior consultant, as well as the gay, indigenous and those of other abilities – to all have a seat at the table and as a collective, broaden our perspective on diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This event will offer ideas and insights, from those with lived experience, on how to adopt diverse hiring techniques and create inclusive communities, as well as offering the perspective of those with the opportunities. It’s not to be missed.
