Briefing Session on Cat Local Laws
Event description
Briefing Session on Control of Cat Local Law
Tuesday, 27 February
4.00pm to 6.00pm
Stirling Community Centre – Tuart Hill, Corner of Cape Street and Stoneham Street
Last year, the City received community feedback to gain a deeper understanding of new and emerging issues related to the Keeping and Control of Cats Local Law 1999. The feedback revealed the following important considerations for the statutory Local Law review currently under review:
- - Restrict free roaming cats
- - Protection of wildlife and natural environment
- - Cat nuisance in cat prohibited areas
- - Responsibility for damage caused by roaming cats
- - Capture roaming cats
These topics will be covered in the session. You can find a summary of the community feedback on the Local Law in Focus - Control of Cats Local Law page.
To register for the session, please reserve a ticket or call us at 08 9205 8555 by Friday, 23 February. Spaces are limited, so please register early to secure your spot.
This is a great opportunity to ask questions and ensure that you are fully informed about the local laws that affect you and your feline friends.
