    Event description

Come, see and hear how we, with the help of family and friends, have transformed cleared land on Kangaroo Island with trees and shrubs that provide home for precious wildlife - the pitfalls and the successes.

Walk through revegetated areas and if really lucky, you will see the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoos feeding on the Drooping Sheoaks.

Go on guided walks through post-fire bush and be amazed at its recovery. Look for orchids.

Wander through our "Botanic Gardens" and watch for native birds and bees.

Hear from experts about the importance of revegetation for wildlife and be inspired to undertake a similar project. Take part in a bird count.

Join us for a delicious home-made afternoon tea with a cup (or two) of tea or coffee; relax and enjoy the view to the sea.

IMPORTANT: Closed in shoes and long trousers must be worn for walks through the bush areas.

Bring binoculars if you have them. But please no dogs, except for service ones.

Numbers are limited so book your place!
