Stories Worth Exploring: A creative workshop exploring stories from everyday life, relationships and work.
Description
Stories Worth Exploring
A creative workshop exploring stories from everyday life, relationships and work.
A conversation that stayed with you. A relationship you’re curious about. A familiar pattern. A moment when you made a difference, or someone made a difference to you.
Our everyday lives are full of stories worth exploring. They don’t have to be extraordinary, polished or easy to put into words.
Join me for a small, welcoming and playful gathering at Impact Story Lab / Wonderplay Studio, where we’ll explore some of these experiences through conversation, creativity and action.
Your story might be a personal encounter, an experience from your work or community, a success, a struggle or something you’re still trying to understand. Or you might come without a particular story, simply curious.
From storytelling to storyplaying
Drawing on psychodrama and instant dramatisation, we’ll use simple movement, roles, metaphor, imagery and objects to bring some of these stories to life.
We might create a still image using people and objects, explore a moment through a short enactment or step into another person’s perspective. Together, we’ll make space for discovery, connection, fresh understanding and perhaps a sense of resolution.
You don’t need acting experience or a prepared story. You’re welcome to share, join in or simply observe.
This work can be playful and emotionally moving, so you’re invited to choose what you share and how you participate, and let me know if you need to pause or slow down. We’ll make time to warm up, enact, share and ground ourselves before closing.
