Bringing Books to Life - Speech and Language for Little Ones
Description
Made for children aged 0–3 years, this speech therapy-led program will share practical, evidence-based ways to support your child’s communication through story time, music, and play. Learn how to build language-rich interactions at home with help from experienced speech therapists from Creative Therapy Adelaide. There will be time at the end to ask questions in a supportive group setting and to speak with the speech therapist about concerns you have with your child.
Each session is designed to be a whole experience, so families don't need to come to every session. Come along when you can.

Elizabeth Poey - Creative Therapy Adelaide
Elizabeth is a speech pathologist who is enthusiastic about forming genuine connections with individuals across the lifespan. Before completing her Master’s degree at Flinders University, she worked with young children with disability in early intervention,supporting their development holistically. She also has experience teaching English and Music at primary schools. Elizabeth also graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Artsin English Language & Linguistics. Her strong foundation in language science, combined with her experience as a multilingual speaker of English, Mandarin Chinese, and conversational German, shapes her desire to support communication development across cultures.
