Join us for an informative and inspiring evening, reflecting on what's changed since the Black Summer fires.

Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action are hosting an engaging panel discussion, mini film screening and networking event.

  • Hear stories of how local communities have been getting better prepared
  • Get the low down on avoiding the pitfalls of home insurance 
  • Chat to experts about preparing your home and caring for your property
  • Learn how you can take action through public advocacy.

Drop in from 5:45pm for finger food and refreshments.

Chat with other community members and browse the stalls from local organisations for information and advice.

The film and panel event will kick off at 6:30 pm.

  • Chay Khamsone - Local firefighter, environmental educator, community disaster resilience leader
  • Vicki Staff - National Coordinator for Disaster Recovery, Financial Counselling Australia
  • Greg Mullins AO - Former commissioner of Fire and Rescue New South Wales and the founder of Emergency Leaders for Climate Action
  • Jo Dodds - President and co-founder of Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action
