Brisbane Chamber Choir: Tides of Ocean - Southport
Description
In this concert, Brisbane Chamber Choir presents a varied program, from master works of the English Renaissance by Byrd and Tallis, to more recent works by Australian composers, Orlovich, Leek and Morton. The programme includes the premiere of a new arrangement of the poignant work 'Beach Burial' by Andrew Schultz based on the poem of the same name by WWII correspondent Kenneth Slessor. An underlying theme of water, tides and music groups the entire programme together as we contemplate the solemnity of life.
