Brisbane NEST (Nutrition Education Skills Training) 2026

Our NEST team in Brisbane will be running a free 6-day program at our OzHarvest kitchen, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

Led by our friendly Dietitian Claire, you’ll learn how to cook easy, tasty and affordable meals as well as build on your food and nutrition knowledge and meet new friends in 6 fun, hands-on 2.5 hour group sessions.

At NEST, you'll learn:

- New cooking tips and tricks

- How to understand food labels

- How to save money on your food budget

- How to plan meals to reduce food waste

- How to store food safely

This free 6-day program will be running from Monday the 12th of January from 1.30pm to 4pm. This program will run over 3 consecutive days in week 1 and 3 days in week 2, Monday to Wednesday, ending on the 21st of January 2026.

At the completion of the program, you'll receive a certificate, take-home resources and your own copy of the OzHarvest Everyday Cookbook!

When:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the 12th January - 14th January 2026.

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the 19th January - 21st January 2026.

*By registering for this NEST program, you will be signed up to all 6 sessions. Please ensure you are available to attend all 6 sessions.

Time: 1.30pm-4pm

Cost: Free

This program is tailored for people 18+ years. Bookings are essential and will be capped at 15 people.
