Barry Nguyen is a physiotherapist, software engineer and healthcare technology founder working at the intersection of healthcare, AI and entrepreneurship. After more than 20 years in clinical practice, Barry saw how much healthcare capacity was being lost to documentation, fragmented systems and repetitive administration. That led him to build CliniScribe, an allied health AI platform growing 8× year-on-year and expanding into a family of AI products including CliniPlan, CliniForms and CliniBase. He is also the founder of Agentik Health, which is building AI-enabled administrative workflows for healthcare practices.

He spent more than a decade building and operating his own allied health business, Out of the Box Physiotherapy, before successfully exiting the business in 2025. His career has also included leadership within private practice, the insurance sector, and professional advocacy, giving him a perspective that spans clinical care, business operations and the broader healthcare system.
