Brite - NYE

Come and join us at the Cobargo Showgrounds and let's reclaim New Years Eve, show how strong we are together and celebrate how far we've come! 

This event is for the whole community and all our friends! 

Set up camp from 4pm, BYO (there will be no bar), but there will be food available to purchase. 

There will be face painting to help finish off kids and parents costumes. The dress theme is 'Bright'. We'll be going all out so feel free to express yourself! 

We open ‘Brite’ at 6pm with a taste of West African drumming from Djembe Forte then continue into the kids dance party at 6.20pm.  

Howlin’ Mitch will get us stomping to some Rhythm and Blues at 7.15pm, The Scaramouche will follow bringing mischief and magic with their eclectic mix of jazz, rock, swing and punk at 8.45pm, followed by Goldie who have a soulful voice and a passion for dancing  to an energetic and vibrant combination of funk and Latin American vibes at 10.15pm. Ben Buggy will man the dj decks at 11.15pm and various dj's from 12.15pm will keep the tunes coming till the last person leaves.

Join us for a wonderful night, stay the night, bring all your friends and relatives, and write your intentions on our wishing trees throughout the evening. What are you grateful for, what do you love about yourself, what do you wish for in 2023? 

Volunteers

This event is for the community and run by the community. If you'd like to be part of the team and volunteer for a few hours please contact Sarah on 0417 684 300. We have decorating the hall, signing people in, showing them where to camp, and of course making sure the show grounds are left clean and tidy the next day. Many hands make light work and we're thinking 1 or 2 hours will suffice.
