A Berlin-inspired techno rave bringing together 1,300 ravers, 20 techno meisters behind the decks and over 20 onstage performers across three rooms.

For its thirteenth chapter, BRLN opens the gates to HERETIC: a night where the sacred is corrupted, the forbidden is celebrated, and the ritual belongs to those who refuse the ordinary.

Drawing on forbidden rituals, dark devotion and the freedom to question what you’re told to be, HERETIC feels fitting for a crowd that has always done things its own way.

Three chambers of techno, with fire performers, dancers, pole and shibari artists bringing the HERETIC world to life around you. Dark aesthetics, bold outfits and a crowd that makes the experience its own. The freedom to express yourself, with respect for everyone sharing the floor. A new world of heresy to step into, with every reason to put your phone away.

Together, we’ve built something chaotically beautiful in the dark.

BRLN has grown through the people who keep showing up: our ravers, Brisbane’s creative community, and the artists, performers and crew who put themselves into every edition. We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we keep pushing because we know how much this means to the people who make it possible.
