Our fabulous soloists Teresa Ingrilli (Soprano) and Stephen Coutts (Baritone) will add extra sparkle to the stage!

And after this veritable feast of music, a sumptuous afternoon tea, included with your ticket, will send you home well satisfied.

Teresa Ingrilli  - Perth born and raised, Teresa Ingrilli is an emerging Australian classical lyric soprano based in Melbourne. She has performed both locally and internationally in opera, operetta and oratorio.

Teresa was accepted as an emerging artist for Melbourne Opera’s Richard Divall Emerging Artist Program, as a chorus member for Victoria Opera and guest artist for Forest Collective (where she created the role of Ariadne in Labyrinth). She won 1st place for the Mildura Eisteddfod Aria, Warrnambool Aria and was a semi-finalist for the Herald Sun and the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship.

Teresa is a co-founder of Balcony Opera which was created during the Victorian lockdowns with soprano Lisette Bolton to share the joy of classical singing, perform and to bring the community together through the pandemic.Balcony Opera appeared in The Age, Channel 7’s Weekend Sunrise, ABC Radio Melbourne and on BBC Proms - A Night at the Opera.

Stephen Coutts -  is an operatic baritone who has performed extensively with the Victorian Opera, Opera Su Presto, Victorian Concert Orchestra, Amore Duet, Melbourne Shakespeare Company and other leading companies around Australia. In the fields of opera, operetta and musical theatre, he has played many leading roles in productions and he currently studies under the tutelage of Australian operatic soprano, Jessica Pratt. Stephen was a Young Songmakers Scholar in 2019 with Songmakers Australia and was the Maroondah Singers Vocal Scholar between 2020-2023. His rich voice is celebrated for its depth and colour well as its delightful light, lyrical quality. 

Stephen completed his Bachelor of Music in 2017 at Melbourne University, and completed his Masters of Teaching at the end of 2022. He is also a vocal and acting teacher at numerous grammar schools across Melbourne.
