Event description

Join us for a joyous night of folk music, friends and family as Broken Creek return to Corryong with fiddle, banjo and guitar in tow!

The Corryong School Band will kick off the fun, followed by music from local folkies and stunning songwriters Jim Dryden, Hannigan Heycox and Paige Heinjus.

This special performance will include the release of Broken Creek's new EP 'Folk From the Archive: Sally Sloane.

Sally Sloane was a bush singer, button accordionist, and fiddler who preserved songs and tunes passed down by her convict Irish grandmother. Archival recordings of Sally herself are woven into the performance, connecting past and present.
