Event description

In the age of COVID-19, collaborating to solve complex problems has never been more critical. For many of us, collaboration assumes we can come together face to face, to advance our objectives. Well before social distancing and remote working became our new normal, the Partnership Brokers Association (PBA) in collaboration with international founding partners, was researching the critical success factors for brokering partnerships remotely (www.remotepartnering.org).

Partnering is an emergent discipline and this course offers a participatory learning journey drawing on international research into challenges and opportunities of partnering remotely.  It encourages participation, individual reflection and small-group collaboration supported by evidence-based materials and facilitated discussions (webinars). Participants are also expected to be active contributors to an online forum to explore key concepts and questions with their cohort peers, and generate new learning to build the practice.

This course offers a way for people new to brokering partnerships remotely to build their confidence, and for experienced practitioners to deepen their practice. The expected time commitment is around 4 hours per week and includes 1 x webinar, 1 x practice partnership group, review of materials and reflection time.
