New York's Brooklyn Brewery has a line of special beers named Ghost Beers. These beers don't exist - at least in a commercial sense!
Rather, these unique expressions are used during special events and tastings - usually unlabelled and in short supply!
That is up until now!
The Dutch Trading Co has access to a handful of the latest Ghost Beer - 2019 Black Ops, a 12.4% Russian Imperial Stout that has been aged in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels.
We will be opening several bottles along with a few other Brooklyn bevies. A special beer will also be released from the DTC cellars - something that doesn't exist any longer and will add a bit of #life to the party!
Not only will be be drinking Ghost beers, but Brooklyn Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, will be spending time with us (remotely!) and guiding us through the barrel ageing aspect, food pairing and history of Black Ops. This man is a well of beer and food inspiration, so don't miss out!
To cap it off, each person attending will be taking a bottle of Black Ops home with them!!!
