Broome Hash House Harriers combined 2026 Red Dress & 1000th run- charity event
Description
This year we will be gathering at The Roey on Dampier Tce at 2.30pm for a clandestine starting point by 3pm.
The event is open to Non Hashers and Hashers & Harriettes alike..... with runners (trotters & walkers & crawlers) following a marked trail to find the hash halts and circle shenanigans. Expect an afternoon of laughs, lubrication, entertaining ditties and a bloody good crew!
RDR- The story so far…..Each year, H3 groups from all over the globe organise a unique fundraising event with a Red Dress Run.
This is your opportunity to ‘run’ with the Broome H3 crew– elite sportsmen and women who would never run without suitable and adequate hydration. Come and join the antics of the day, have some fun, with a day you’re not likely to forget in a long time….even if you want to.
Registration is open to Hashers and the general community- with a paid entry and red dress (or dress red). Go hard!
Funds this year are destined to support the local Branch of the RSL who support returned veterans and their families.

At the gathering space- register your attendance and meet with the local hashers and admire our garb! If you have never joined a hash event before you're in for a treat! We welcome newcomers - just look for the mob in red! The run will begin at some stage when we are all assembled and lubrication is deemed adequate. Be sure to register to collect your golden tickets!

During the 'run'
During the 'run' you will experience rehydration of various forms & entertainment that will have you with sore ribs the next day. The combined celebratory 1000th and charity RDR2026 will include some liquid gold- keeping us all moist.
Will I starve to death?
Said no Broome hasher ever! Dinner is included in your ticket cost and will be provided towards the end of the event.
You don't have to go home but you can't stay here :)
At the conclusion of the shenanigans you are free to stay are the final venue or move on and enjoy all that the Broome night life has to offer! Remember to show off your glamourous dress or costume to the unsuspecting.
