Bros, Brews and Braids - Sunday 22nd November 2026

Dads come and spend a relaxed evening learning how to create simple, stylish braids and ponytails - all while enjoying a brew in a fun pub setting.

Hosted by Manuao TeAotonga, a professional hair & makeup artist/designer, educator... and a fellow dad

What you can expect;

• Easy braiding techniques, from tidy ponytails to braids that actually stay in place.

• Quick tricks to get out the door - Simple methods to make hair time faster & stress-free on school days.

• Hands on practice with mannequin heads and guidance. Get helpful tips to leave feeling confident

Feel free to arrive earlier and take advantage of the Wednesday night special, Steak Frittes! A 250g Angus O'Connor Scotch Fillet, served with crispy French frites and the classic French bearnaise sauce, all cooked to your liking for an easy going $30.

The workshop is limited to 15 spots and includes some free essential hair tools to take home (This session provides mannequin heads so you do not need to bring your child in)
