Brown Women Camping – A Cozy Escape in the Otways
Event description
ASAC Members - pack your bags for the long weekend, bring your best campfire stories, and get ready to escape into the Otway Rainforest for an intimate weekend of Brown Women Camping. Hosted by the Australian South Asian Centre, this isn’t your average outdoorsy retreat—it’s a wholesome, soul-nourishing getaway where brown women come together to unwind, connect, and bask in the magic of nature (without judgment if you overpack snacks).
What’s in store?
✔️ Campfire Chats – The best kind of therapy, but with snacks.
✔️ Slow Mornings in the Rainforest – Wake up to the sound of birds, not emails.
✔️ Connection & Community – Because the best memories are made in good company.
✔️ Gentle Adventures – Think bushwalks, storytelling, and deep belly laughs.
No experience? No worries. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a ‘glamping but make it humble’ kind of woman, this weekend is all about feeling at home in nature.
Spaces are super limited (we’re keeping it cozy!), so grab your spot before it’s gone.
