Event description

Start your Friday mornings right with a beautiful social bushwalk through Bruce Ridge on the Gossan Hill Circuit. The walk is a loop track that takes about an hour (approx 3.1 kms) and finishes back where it starts on College Street. Join us for an optional free coffee at cafe Mizzuna at the end!

On this walk you can see wallabies, kangaroos, kookaburras and cockatoos and amazing views of Black Mountain Tower. Come and meet like-minded people for an easy-moderate walk while enjoying some exercise and nature!

When: Weekly every Friday morning starting 31 January.

Time: 7:50am for 8am start.

Where: Gossan Hill Loop

Meeting point: Corner of Kirinari and College streets, at the University of Canberra sign on College Street.

Please bring: Water bottle, hat, sunscreen. Wear comfortable enclosed shoes. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Parking: Bus is best, but casual parking at UC is possible.

Weather: We walk if there is light rain but will cancel if there is significant wet weather.

Open to people who live, work or study in Bruce or Belconnen who are aged 18-30.
