Brunch and Wildflower Walk in Rushworth
Event description
It's wildflower season and our friends at Waranga Catchment Landcare Collective have offered to take us for a walk in the beautiful Box-Ironbark forest to see the beautiful blooms. Spot orchids and other wildflowers, feel the awe of being immersed in cloaks of wattle blossom, and take a slow stroll to see what else you can find!
We will start with brunch at 11am at a local Rushworth cafe, then head out for the walk at 12noon. Brunch will be at own cost at cafe prices, walk is free! An up to date menu will be provided along with cafe and where to meet details upon booking.
This will be a slow and gentle walk, however some of the terrain can be a little rocky and gravelly and there will be some walking up and down inclines.
This walk is open to all ages, and GV Pride asks that folks under the age of 18yrs be accompanied by a responsible adult.
