Be The Change Film Series (BTC) is pleased to present JUST EAT IT on Wednesday January 20, 2027; 7 pm at the Simcoe Street Theatre. Just Eat It follows filmmakers Jen and Grant as they explore the shocking extent of food waste in North America, pledging to survive on discarded food and exposing the billions of dollars in edible goods thrown away each year. Through compelling footage and interviews with food waste experts, the film uncovers society’s obsession with expiry dates and perfect produce, revealing how these habits contribute to a global crisis. Equal parts education and entertainment, Just Eat It brings together farmers, retailers, organizations, and consumers in a thought-provoking call to action.
