✂ Learn how to create and apply iron-on patches, fabric glue, and other no-sew techniques
Whether you’re new to mending or looking to build confidence, you’ll leave with useful skills, a mended item of your own, and a fresh perspective on textile sustainability that values repair over waste. Bring along something to work on and we’ll provide the rest!
About your hosts
Karina and Rachel are two passionate menders on a mission to make clothing and textile care fun, creative, and accessible. Karina, Vice President of the Brunswick Tool Library, loves repurposing worn or ill-fitting clothes and is dedicated to making fashion more sustainable.
Rachel is a regular repairer at the Brunswick Tool Library’s Repair Cafés, who believes that relearning mending and creative skills not only reduces waste but also builds stronger, more connected communities.
