Each month we showcase an eclectic mix of inspirational speakers through the lens of the 5 Buddhas from the Temple's Main Shrine. Hear their incredible personal stories. Gain new insights as passions and expertise are shaped into compelling and convincing stories of hope. Join us for Series 1- Conquering fear, building courage (Blue Buddha). Discover how Stacy Jane, the Founder/CEO of awarding winning charity, Escabags, feared, fought and fled domestic violence. Stacy shares how she turned those negatives years into an extraordinary support organisation for women and women with children.

Meet Darren Wagner, psychotherapist and a former Police Officer with a lived experience of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with extensive experience working with mass trauma after supporting his community of Sandy Hook, United States through a school shooting. From anti-gun rallies to theatre-based healing projects, Darren presents the subject in a manner that is trauma informed. learn from a zenpeace officer on how theatre heals.  Warning: there will be wit and laughter.

Discover from Venerable Juefang the ancient Buddhist teachings on courage and fearlessness and how this can shape your own spiritual practices. Satisfy your curiosity in learning a bit more about Humanistic Buddhism in the tranquil grounds of the monastery. Venerable Juefang is Director of International Relations at the Nan Tien Institute and General Manager of the Hsing Yun Education Institute.

Nan Tien Temple is a non-profit charity organisation serving the community since 1995. We are a temple, monastery, hub, haven and a model offering educational and cultural programs. All ticket sales are used to continue our work in creating a more peaceful and compassionate world.
