Budding Green Thumbs

Get hands-on with nature and grow your love of native plants!

Budding young gardeners are invited to join Kings Park’s friendly horticulturists for a hands-on adventure in nature. Discover why plants are so important and learn how we can help care for our precious native bushland.

Children will roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty with weeding and mulching activities, before putting their botanist skills to the test by learning how to identify some of our favourite native plants.

To finish the session, participants will create their own take-home Pink Everlasting seed bombs, ready to plant and grow a beautiful wildflower garden at home.

Perfect for curious young nature lovers who enjoy exploring, learning and getting outdoors!

Location: The Green Room, Kings Park Education
