    Event description

This month's event is designed for primary school aged children.

Bendigo's flowering trees and wildflowers have been budding and blooming. Many animals are attracted to the flowering flora and living in Solomon Gully for that reason. So we're getting out on a photo walk with the guidance of our very own photographer, Shane Carey (aka The Sensitive Shutter).

Bring a camera, tablet or phone for your child to use. A couple of Bendigo Family Nature Club cameras will be available. Paper and pencils will be provided for those who would prefer to draw what they see.

Bring sturdy footwear as the paths are uneven and steep in parts. Long pants are preferable for walking through the bush. We encourage photographing from the tracks.

If you consent, send us your favourite three images by the end of September and we will create a collaborative photography post on Bendigo Family Nature Club's social media.

The exact meeting location will be included in your tickets.

    Things to keep in mind...

There are no toilets at the site.

Bring water and consider sun protection.

    Leave your pets at home.

If you've never been to one of our gatherings before, they are for children with their responsible adult.

When you book, to help us with numbers, please book a separate spot for everyone in your group.

This event is made possible by Bendigo Sustainability Group and Bendigo Field Naturalists.
