Bug out with your camera and capture amazing close-up shots of tiny creatures!

Kristi DuBois, retired FWP non-game biologist and avid insect photographer, will provide instruction and guidance during this outdoor photography adventure! Kristi will help you get the most out of your macro shots with discussion on equipment, close focus tips, exposure, lighting, and image composition. You will also learn how to find bugs – habitats, host plants, online resources – and how to identify them. Find the beauty in the details!

Kristi is also presenting her photography with a lecture on bug photography at the monthly Scavengers Photography Club at MNHC on Thursday, July 17, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. FREE. Attend this lecture and then follow it up with practice in the field!
