Event description

Your intimate evening will begin at dusk in our beautiful gardens where you will take part in a smoking ceremony conducted by Yawuru elders. You will then be a part of Yawuru’s tourism journey with their BUGARRIGARRA NYURDANY (Because of the Dreaming): the Stories of Yawuru Country and People.

Yawuru guides will take you on a tour which highlights the spectacular artworks and installations (and culture) at Nyamba Buru Yawuru and the Liyan-ngan Nyirrwa Centre.

Then join our story tellers on the lawns to hear stories of country and people, and to take part in a meal prepared by our chef Lenny Tang Wei and the staff at Mabu Mayi. Lenny will take you on a culinary adventure which will focus on the unique flavour combinations of Broome, as our Native and Asian foods become one.

Don’t miss out, 70 places only. This event will be ticketed. Tuesday 31st August at 5pm. Cost $160. Location 55 Reid Road, Cable Beach. Parking available on site, at rear of premises and on Bernard Way.
