Event description

This show is for every person who has ever asked the question 'would you still love me if I was a worm?'

Welcome, fellow insect enthusiasts, to Buglesque! Buglesque is a camp, queer variety show celebrating our favourite creepy crawlies and gentle garden friends.

Buglesque! is the debut show by Happy Blossom Productions (a joint venture by Monty Mishap and Geri Blossom). Join us on Sunday 25 January 2026 at our favourite Adelaide CBD burlesque hot-spot, Nineteen Ten for a glittering cabaret of carapaces.

Sit back, relax and sip on delicious cocktails, while our performers take you on a journey to the bottom of your garden and beyond.

Come along and see the cutest critters at the ugly bug ball!

Doors at 4:30PM. No allocated seating provided. Event is strictly 18+.

Buglesque! is proudly a Pilot Light Project, with funding is generously provided by Lesbians, Inc and performed on unceded Kaurna land. Always ways, always will be, Aboriginal land.

[ID: The event banner has the title 'Buglesque!' in green text. The tagline 'would you still love me if I was a worm?' is above the title in lighter green text. On the left hand side is performer Geri Blossom, a cisgender thin woman with long brown hair. She is dressed as a praying mantis and holding a giant leaf. On the right hand side is Monty Mishap, a non-binary mid-sized performer in a fluffy emerald green moth-inspired hat and green lingerie. They have Isis wings outstretched behind them. There are rainbows in the background and an image of cartoon worms holding hands under a red loveheart, surrounded by other bugs]
