Bugs and BRUV: Ecohealth Water Bug Workshop

Come and help us find out what's living in your local creek. Led by Dr Brendan Cox, freshwater ecologist and committee member of the Richmond Riverkeeper.

No experience needed. On the day we'll collect and identify water bugs and drop a BRUV (baited remote underwater video camera) in the water to see what fish are around.

Water bugs tell us a lot about creek health — some only survive in clean water, others can handle pollution. Right now the Richmond River catchment is sitting on a C- grade in the Richmond River Ecohealth Report Card. Your data helps us track whether things are improving.
