Bring your greenery to new heights and create your own handcrafted hanging plant stand from reclaimed wood! Learn how to use a drill, impact driver, sander and jigsaw. 101 power tools!
Design and build a unique hanging plant stand, the perfect way to showcase your favourite indoor or outdoor plants. Stylish, sturdy, and sustainable, your finished piece will brighten up any corner of your home or garden.
Gain hands-on confidence with power tools under the guidance of our experienced tutor. Along the way, you’ll learn sustainable DIY practices and creative upcycling skills while making something beautiful and functional.
We have two options: treated pine timber which can be painted or sealed or native timber. You will be provided with all materials and tools for the project.
There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools.
All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). We will be working outside so please bring a hat and drink bottle.

Health and safety briefing
Step-by-step use of all tools
Guidance on where to extend yourself for Tools 201
Personal attention where required
Important Notes
Please note children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
You must arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
Please bring a water bottle and a snack for yourself.

Parking: Please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd. Please do not drive past the gravel and onto the concrete area.
