Build an insect hotel for a biodiverse hotel - Children's workshop
Event description
Ever wanted to make an insect hotel? Curious about the types of winged insects in your garden? Then this workshop is for you!
We will collect natural materials from our garden and make insect hotels to provide a home for flying and crawling insects that visit our garden.
We will also discuss the range of visitors our garden will attract and what we should plant to make sure they can access food and water and how to ensure our garden stays healthy for them.
All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Parents/carers are welcome to assist their child/ren in activities.
What to bring: Enclosed shoes, sunscreen, hat, water, snack
Suitable for children aged 4-12.
